Goodreads Summary

Colin McKinney has wanted three things since he met Caroline “Charlie” Collins when he was a junior at Texas A&M University: to make her his wife, play professional football, and have a family. In the first three books of the Infinity Series, Colin and Charlie met, fell in love, broke apart, reunited eight years later, and got married. In the years they were separated, Colin became the starting quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys, but was still chasing his Super Bowl dream. Charlie graduated from Harvard Medical School, fulfilling her dream of becoming a doctor. In “Infinity.”, Charlie and Colin are facing their toughest challenge as a couple yet—finding the balance between their personal lives and career goals. Both are still fighting to have it all. In the final installment of the Infinity Series, will Colin get everything that he’s always dreamt of? And do Colin and Charlie ultimately find their happiness?

My Review

Aaaanndd…the series is finished. Honestly, as much as I enjoyed the series (which I did, don’t get me wrong), I’m glad it’s done. It dragged on a bit and I never was totally immersed in the series.  It kind of put me in a funk, so I’m happy to move on.

This book is the conclusion of Charlie and Colin’s story (there will be a companion that is Rachel’s story, but they will only be minor characters in it). Their lives continue through a pregnancy, child, death, and more.

It was a decent book. I enjoyed it, but it honestly felt more like a continuation of the previous books than a book in its own.

In it, the timeline is a bit weird. We start in the “present day” and then go back in time and continue until we get back to the present. It’s a little confusing but not nearly as confusing as the first book’s timeline.

Overall

The book was decent. Read it if you’ve read the rest of the series.

Overall, the series was an okay read, but there are many others that are better.
